At 341 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Wake Forest, or 12 miles northeast of Raleigh, moving northeast at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Wake Forest, Bunn, Rolesville, Youngsville, Purnell, and Falls Lake.
